hi i just heard from a site about gw2 next year and it says you need a account with a eye of the north game key to continue your account is this true

GW2 is more like 2 years away.
Anyway, you need GW:EN to transfer accomplishments and titles over. Doubt you "need" GW:EN to play GW2. |

Yeah. But if you have GW:EN, you can tie your GW2 account to your GW1 account for phat lewt.

No, it is not true.
GW2 is a completely new game, there is no requirement to have any of the previous GW1 installments. However, there will be GW2 content (weapons, mini-pets, etc.) that can be unlocked through the HoM in GW:EN. These things will not give an advantage over players who don't have GW. The only GW product that needs another product to play it is GW:EN - You can't play it without one of the 3 GW1 chapters. |
